Kind + Jugend

Higher, faster, further: The Innovation Award is to Kind + Jugend what a medal is to the Olympics. It honours outstanding achievements and makes the winners well known to the public.

The Kind + Jugend Innovation Award will be presented in eight new categories:

• World of Moving Baby & Travelling Baby Accessories
  Accessories for baby carriages, travel systems and car safety seats 
• World of Baby Safety at Home
  security devices for infants and small children at home

  toys for infants and small children
• World of Baby Textiles
  home textiles, baby wear and fashion etc.
• World of Baby Care
  nursery products, electrical appliances
• World of Baby Furniture
  baby furniture and accessories

Jury:
The jury, which selects the winners during the run-up to the fair, is made up of representatives from international trade magazines covering the baby and infant's outfitting sector, trade representatives, and health and safety experts. The decisive criteria for selecting the winners are the products' design, safety, user-friendliness, degree of innovation, and quality of workmanship, with the greatest emphasis being given to innovation and safety.
