Start-up Spotlight: "Kenguru Gold" capsule wardrobe system for safe sleeping of babies

Problem

Current baby clothing trends often overlook the specific physiological needs of infants at various developmental stages. Yet, during their first year, babies undergo major changes in thermoregulation and skin condition. Right after birth—especially for premature babies—chilling is a major risk, while overheating becomes more common by six months. Early on, sweat glands function only around the head and neck, but by toddler age, one in two children experiences excessive night sweating. Poorly designed clothing without proper insulation and breathability can lead to daily discomfort and health risks.

Our Solution

We developed over 100 innovative products—underwear, pants, sleepsuits, overalls, sleeping bags, and accessories—designed to meet the special needs of premature babies, newborns, and toddlers. Each fabric and combination is tested for thermal insulation (Tog), water absorption, and evaporation capacity. Based on this, our dressing algorithm suggests the best outfit setups for indoor and outdoor use, day and night.

The Collection

Our Kenguru Gold capsule wardrobe features a carefully curated range of nightwear, displayed in unique “shop-in-shop” wooden furniture. All styles and fabrics are developed in-house for optimal heat and vapor regulation. We support parents with both online and offline dressing guidance.

Our Team & Production

Our team includes research doctors, intensive care nurses, sleep psychologists, midwives, and clothing designers. All garments are produced in Hungary using organic and recycled materials, ensuring sustainability and safety.
