To your shovels, get set, go! Bruno Bear has his hands full. After all, Paul’s aunt’s is impatient for her new house to be finished. But not even the foundations have been laid yet. Site manager Bruno therefore urgently needs assistance. And who says that, even at the tender age of two, you’re too young to roll your sleeves up and help a bear in need? The HABA Building Site game provides budding construction workers with the knowledge required.
And that’s precisely what makes the HABA My Very First Games series so special – it’s all about playing AND learning, which are both inseparably linked. Play means fun, and at the same time, play teaches us a lot of useful things for life. The focus is always on the needs of the youngest members of the family; the robust, easy-to-grasp materials and simple rules that introduce children to the concept of board games make discovery and exploration even more fun. The needs of the parents are also taken into account; you will find useful tips and creative ideas for an enjoyable game experience.
How does a house get built? The game comes with a fascinating narrative for you to read aloud to the children, thereby getting them into the spirit of the project. Played alone or in a group of up to four, the game challenges players to recognize colors and shapes and to locate them among the traffic cone tiles which are spread out face down. The tiles are loaded onto Kullerbü – Ball Track dump trucks and driven to where they are needed. Step by step, the foundations, brickwork, roof and garden take shape.
Tip for Kullerbü - Ball Track owners – If you like, you can use the Kullerbü tracks to connect the material storage areas with each other and with the construction site. This means that, in addition to playing by rules, children also have ample opportunity for free play.
Building Site, a member of the HABA My Very First Games series, is a collaborative matching and memory game for construction professionals of all ages.
