Impressions of Day 1

Highly anticipated, the first day of Kind + Jugend 2025 on 9 September brought together the international baby and toddler industry in Cologne.

The event opened with the festive presentation of the Innovation Award and special Midwives’ Choice award held in the Europasaal for the first time. Making its debut, the Trend Space was an immediate hit, with lectures, panels and discussions providing exciting insights into the future of the market. Another key highlight was the Innovation Award Exhibition featuring both the winning products and nominees of the Kind + Jugend Innovation Award as well as the winners of the outbound fairs.

The sense of discovery was also palpable in the New Product Trail, Start-up Area and Young Innovators pavilion, where visitors could experience the innovative spirit of the industry up close. There were also plenty of opportunities for lively networking and personal exchange on the first day.
