Innovation Award 2023

The award ceremony of the Innovation Award is a special highlight of Kind + Jugend every year. The distinctions honoured exceptional, innovative new products and further developments of the baby and toddler outfitting industry in eight categories.

The new "Midwives‘ Choice" award was presented by a jury of midwives for the first time in 2023.

These products could be pleased to receive the coveted Kind + Jugend Innovation Award in the course of the festive award ceremony. The additional award of "Midwives‘ Choice" was also presented for the first time.


The award ceremony is preceded by an intensive and qualified expert assessment carried out by an international and independent jury comprising experts from the baby and toddler market.

From a total of 120 applications, the jury nominated 24 products in eight categories for the Innovation Award.

They will all be presented at the Innovation Award exhibition in Hall 11.2.

Innovation Award Midwives Choice

New additional prize "Midwives' Choice"

All products registered for the Innovation Award had the chance of winning the new "Midwives' Choice" award. Three products that satisfied the requirements of the jury from Hebammen-testen.de in terms of their properties and product utility were honoured in the course of the award ceremony at the Trend Forum of Kind + Jugend.

Hebammen-testen.de is a cooperation partner of the Kind und Jugend Innovation Award for the first time in 2023.
