FIDLOCK’s market entry into the bicycle sector in 2016 brought about a small revolution releasing the bike bottle from its cage. Since then, the Hanover-based brand has been conquering the bike accessories market with smart, magnetic-mechanical mounts. FIDLOCK is passionate about turning that brief, unremarkable opening and closing action into an intuitive, surprising experience. Whether it’s your helmet or shoe, your backpack or school bag – the application spectrum for innovative, patented closure systems based on magnetic-mechanical technology is huge. It all began back in 2007 with the development of a magnetic mount for cello bows. The company now holds over 400 patents from 65 patent families. It has 60 distribution partners and is present in around 40 countries worldwide. What’s more: the European Patent Office nominated Joachim Fiedler and his magnetic-mechanical fastening solutions for the European Inventor Award 2022.
