Baby textiles: Sustainable and safe
Baby textiles such as covers, changing pads and cuddle cloths come into direct contact with the skin, mouth and eyes. Natural materials such as certified organic cotton, virgin sheep wool, organic linen, bamboo fibres, kapok fibres and horsehair are not just more sustainable than acrylic or polyester. Organic cotton for blankets and cloths is also breathable, free of pesticides, skin-friendly and flame retardant. Kapok fibres on the other hand are used as filling material for pillows, have an antibacterial effect and are moisture resistant.
