To ensure smooth transport within the exhibition grounds during the build up and dismantling periods, please observe the traffic guideline including all deposit regulations and eSlot bookings. Please also forward this information to the stand construction companies you have commissioned as well as any logistics service providers.

To drive onto the exhibition grounds, you must book a time slot (eSlot) in advance. This is possible for Kind + Jugend via the eSlot portal . Also use the NUNAV navigation software, which is linked to the eSlot system, for your journey.

Vehicles without a booked eSlot will not be admitted and must register for an on-site check-in at the logistics centre at car park P22.

Since January 1, 2008, Cologne’s city center is a low emission zone. Only vehicles sporting the sticker for emission group 4 and higher are allowed to enter into the low emission zone. These stickers can be acquired at the gas station Mundorf, Rolshover Straße 380, 51105 Köln (open 24 hours). The stickers are handed out upon presentation of the vehicle documents.

The Koelnmesse exhibition center will remain accessible for all types of vehicles, even if they do not bear one of the aforementioned stickers

Only vehicles that bear the pertinent sticker will be allowed to drive outside of these routes (to get to downtown Cologne, for example).

The maximum overall height of stand structures and inclusive advertising may not exceed 4.50 meters. In individual cases, depending on constructional and technical issues, a stand height going beyond 4.50 meters can be agreed upon request by Koelnmesse. In this case please send all plans 6 weeks before the show for approval to acceptance@koelnmesse.de . Structures on the boundaries of neighboring exhibitors may not have advertising/promotional material above 2.50 meters. Please also note the Technical Guidelines (.pdf) .

The transport of vehicles, machines etc. over 3.000 kg or 20 kN per m² in the exhibition halls is only permitted after prior notification of the exhibition facilities – technical issues department.

During the build up and dismantling periods, only persons with valid exhibitor-/work passes in the APP will be granted access to the exhibition grounds. Work passes are also available as PDF files.

You can obtain the corresponding codes for work or exhibitor passes via the Service-Shop. The codes must be redeemed in the Ticket-Shop . Please remember to provide your stand construction teams with appropriate work passes. We must point out that Koelnmesse accepts no liability whatsoever for the safety of unauthorised persons present.

Additional tickets required can be ordered at any time for a fee in the Service-Shop .

Please check if you have informed us on the co-exhibitors on your stand. These companies must be registered in preparation of the event. Only then do the visitors at the fair have the opportunity to find all represented companies, either through the information provided by the information terminals, or via the “Exhibitor Search“ on the internet. Thus, you will provide an additional communicative link between the potential buyers and yourself as an exhibitor.

To ensure stand construction runs smoothly, we ask that you check whether you have paid your space rental fee and the down payment for additional costs.

Please note that the distribution of brochures, stickers, handbills and other measures outside your stand is only permitted if this measure has been ordered in advance from Koelnmesse.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Koelnmesse has strengthen the safety measures at all events. This includes visual inspections and spot checks of baggage of exhibitors and visitors. Please be prepared for possible checks at the entrances.

If you are travelling to our fair from a country whose citizens require a visa for Germany, you will need an official letter from Koelnmesse. Please use the form on our website to request the invitation letter.

The After Six Party will take place on Friday, 8 September 2023, from 6:00 p.m. on the Piazza.

Please notice that stand parties are only approved up to midnight.
